The Application Process
Visit Our Campus
Click the “Schedule A Tour” button to choose a date and time that suits your schedule. Tours last approximately 45 minutes, and children are welcome.
Complete the Online Application
After your campus visit, you should have an idea of whether PCS is the right school for your child. You can visit our Admissions Center and fill out the online application.
Family Interview
Once your application is complete, you (both parents and applicant) will be invited to meet with our Admissions Committee.

Classical Christian Education at a Glance
Classical Christian education (CCE) uses a three-stage process called the Trivium to make the most of children’s God-given gifts and abilities as they develop. Students progress from knowledge to understanding and, ultimately, to wisdom. The three stages of the Trivium are Grammar, Logic, and Rhetoric. Read on to learn more!
Elementary School
GRAMMAR
Pre-Kindergarten – 6th Grade
Preschool and elementary-age children are naturally gifted at memorization. They enjoy reciting, singing, and demonstrating what they know. Grammar School teachers use these strengths to equip students with the fundamentals and basic facts of various academic disciplines, preparing them well for future studies. Children receive a strong foundation in God’s word, academics, outdoor play, healthy habits, social-emotional development, and fine arts.
Middle School
LOGIC
7th – 8th Grade
As middle school students approach adolescence, they begin to ask deeper questions and want to find answers for themselves. Many students become somewhat argumentative at this stage. Through the study of formal logic, teachers help students learn to reason and think logically through arguments. Class discussions and debates teach students to argue winsomely and respectfully. Students begin learning important life skills in preparation for high school.
High School
RHETORIC
9th – 12th Grade
High school students are ready to think deeply, engage in important conversations, and express themselves effectively. Students in the Rhetoric Stage are led in lively Socratic-style discussions with their peers and practice writing about and teaching what they’ve learned. Seniors write, present, and defend a Senior Thesis. Students graduate with the character, knowledge, discernment, and communication skills to be effective in college and beyond.
